EDNA Institute for Capacity Building & Consulting “herein referred to as Centre” is a Centre of Excellence (CoE) established to deliver tailor-made professional training to individuals and organizations who desire to:
- ● Gain a better understanding of climate change and climate change policies.
- ● Improve their skills and mindset and attitude change for engagement in the climate change debate.
- ● Enhance career development opportunities.
The Centre will administer courses on Diplomacy, Arts and Skills of Negotiations to individuals and organizations that plan to engage, or desire to enhance their skills and knowledge, in the process of the negotiations in domestic, regional and international multi-lateral agreements. In addition, the Centre will also offer courses on leadership skills at a work place, on professional speaking and communication skills, and how to strike a balance between work and life, the concept of artificial intelligence, business coaching, and the development of company and organizational profiles, including drafting of vision, goals and mission statements. In addition, the Centre will undertake other services including research to find answers and foster climate solutions for thought-provoking topics in climate change and other areas that may require such responses.
Further, the Centre will offer capacity building/ training women working in government and other institutions who desire to become negotiators or improve their negotiation skills. The course on training will be useful in changing the mindset of decision makers in order to make a difference, also hoping that these female trainees will be included consistently in the national/ group delegations so they can learn on the ground about the dynamics and content of negotiations and therefore solidify their capacity to take leaders roles and influence the outcomes
